Alberto Al Dosal founded Capital America in 1978 primarily
as a leasing company. Under his leadership, Capital America has
evolved into an investment bank specializing in the technology industry
and has financed over $100 million in leases and acquisitions. Mr.
Dosal has a hands-on approach to business development and is personally
involved in each of the transactions. Mr. Dosal has worked with
many high profile clients in the South Florida area, including Ocean
Bank, SunTrust Bank, N.A., Union Planters and Diplomat Hotel.
Along with Capital America Mr. Dosal is also the founder, President
& CEO of Compuquip Technologies, one of the largest technology
solutions provider and systems integrators in South Florida. Mr.
Dosal has almost 30 years of computer industry experience and prior
to forming Compuquip Technologies, he served as a manager with General
Electrics Computer Timesharing Division and with Burroughs
Corporation.
Mr. Dosal is a trustee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce,
a founder of the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) football program
and a lifetime member of the FAU Inner Circle and Alumni Association.
He is the recipient of FAUs 2000 Alumni Talon Award for outstanding
leadership. Mr. Dosal sits on the Board of Directors of Compuquip
Technologies, Inc. and Sailsman, Inc. He holds a bachelors
degree in Finance from FAU.

Eric Dosal joined Capital America in 2002 to help grow the Merger
& Acquisition practice. Prior to joining Capital America Mr.
Dosal was an Associate in the Investment Banking Group at Blaylock
& Partners in New York City, the largest minority-woman owned
investment bank in the country. At Blaylock Mr. Dosal worked on
a variety of transactions including public IPOs, public high yield
debt offerings, private placements, and M&A transactions. Mr.
Dosal worked on several landmark IPOs helping Fortune 500 companies
raise over $20 billion in financing, these clients include Lucent
Technologies, Agere Systems, Philip Morris, Kraft Foods, Prudential
Financial, Citigroup, Travelers Property Casualty, Verizon Wireless
and UPS.
Prior to Blaylock, Mr. Dosal was an Analyst in the Corporate Finance
group at Fieldstone Private Capital Group, a boutique investment
bank in New York City. At Fieldstone Mr. Dosal worked with several
technology companies focusing on private placements for start up
ventures. Prior to Fieldstone, Mr. Dosal was a Junior Internet Financial
Analyst at Pinnacle Partners, a boutique investment bank in Miami,
Florida. At Pinnacle Partners Mr. Dosal was involved in researching
the internet sector including valuation and financial analysis of
all major internet companies.
Mr. Dosal graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science
degree in Finance and Investments from Babson College and received
the Wallace P. Mors Award for Outstanding Performance and Excellence
in Finance.
